Ashland Progress
Mrs. Sarah Jane Hurst died it the home of her daughter, Mrs. N. C. McLeroy Sunday 
at the advanced age of 89 years Funeral services con ducted by Rev. Frank Payne 
and her remains were interred in Pleasant Grove cemetery Monday afternoon at 3 
o'clock, N. G. Blair Undertaker in charge. Mrs. Hurst was the mother of a large 
family, there being 9 children, 70 grand-children 92 great grand-children and 4 
great-great grand-children according to information furnished for publication.
