Ashland Progress
On January 3rd, 1953, Lenard L. Ingram passed away at his home in the Good Hope 
community at the age of 79. He had been in declining health for the past 3 years. 
He had never married and lived with his brother, John Ingram. He was reared at 
Delta and lived there until a few years ago when they moved to Lineville. Mr. 
Ingram was preceded in death by all his family except one brother, John, and also 
leaves a host of nephews and nieces. The funeral was held at Shiloh Delta 
conducted by Revs. Dee Hurst, W. R. Ingram and B. W. Mathews. Pallbearers were 
Luther Patterson, Henry Edmiston, Curtis Buchanan, W. E. Denson, Thurman Graben 
and Frank Ingram. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery, Blair directing.
