Services for Mrs. Helen Griffin Isbell. 39. of Lineville. Rt. 1, were today at 
McCollum Baptist Church in Clay County with the Rev. John Roberts and the Rev. 
Malcolm Robinson officiating. Burial was in McCollum Baptist Church cemetery 
with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. Mrs. Isbell died Sunday at 
Baptist Medical Center-Montclair in Birmingham. Survivors include a son, Donald 
Brown of Lineville: her mother. Mrs. Olene Griffin of Lineville: a sister, Mrs. 
Nadine Holcombe of Lineville: and three brothers. Wayne Griffin of Apple Valley. 
Calif. Doyle Griffin of Baldwin Park. Calif., and Ricky Griffin of Lineville. 
Pallbearers were Timmy Summerlin, Paul Allen. Jamie Griffin. Mike Griffin. Frank 
Bennett and Doug Pitts. Mrs. Isbell was a lifelong Clay County resident, a 
secretary and a member of McCollum Baptist Church.
