P. Jenkins, died at the - home of his parents at Delta Tuesday morning, Dec 6th after an illness of three days, and his remains were interred in the Delta cemetery Wednesday at 12 o'clock. George had been a member of the Baptist church since last summer, and has lived a Christian, life. He was in school on Friday before he was taken sick Saturday morning. Three physicians were summoned Monday and upon investigation they decided that an operation was necessary. After a careful examination it was discovered that his skull had a crevice in it, which it is thought was caused by getting a bruise while wrestling with some of the other schoolboys. He lived only a few hours after the operation. The family has the sympathy of their many friends in their bereavement.
