Murphy departed this life the 16 day of Feb. 1900 at her sisters in Ashland. She died as she loved trusting in Jesus. She had all the attention the hands of living relatives and friends could bestow, but God had called, and she had to obey. She has gone to the land of joy, to live with God, and to await the coming of loved ones. She was born Feb 22, 1882. Professed Religion and joined the Congregational Church Sept. 5, 1896, in which she lived a consistent Chistian to death. She was loved by all who knew her....She was the mother of one child which filled a premature grave.....She was laid to rest by her babe in the Ashland Cemetery......
