L. Jenkins fell and was caught under the wheel of the moving train and badly mutilated, having to his legs cut off. Death did not come for several hours it being Sunday morning at 2:00 o'clock when he died. The deceased, who was 22 years of age, was a former resident of Lineville, but the time of his death residing at Malone. He was the son of. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Jenkins, of Rt 1, Ashland. His remains arrived in Lineville Monday. morning and were interred in the Lineville Cemetery, Monday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, the services being conducted by Rev. V. H. Hawkins. A widow and one child survive the deceased.
