Robert Curlee and Rev. M. E. Blackburn. Interment was in adjacent cemetery with Blair Funeral Directors in charge. Pallbearers were grandsons, Bremon Sims, Coolidge Sims, Ledford Smith, Bill Carpenter, Duane Smith, Billy Jenkins. Mrs. Jenkins formerly of Delta, had made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Mancil Sims in Ashland for a number of years, where she passed away on May 2nd, after several years of declining heath. She was honored by her children by celebrating her 95th birthday in March. She was a member of Ashland Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mancil Sims, Ashland; Mrs. Eunice Byard, Columbus, Ga., four sons, J. W., H. G., A. V. and T. R. Jenkins of Bham: Three sisters, three brothers seven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren and a large number of other relatives.
