Ashland Progress
On last Saturday morning at AM. Mrs. Nancy S Jones died at the home of her son 
Mr. William Jones, near Erin. Mrs. Jones was in her 85th year and lived in the 
Sardis community the greater part of her life. She was the oldest member of 
Sardis church and a consecrated Christian woman. Her life was purely unselfish 
she leaves four Sons and three daughters.  The funeral services were conducted at 
Sardis church last Sunday afternoon. The enormous crowd present testified to this 
good woman's popularity.
