Uncle Henry was borned May 6, 1854. He leaves to mourn his loss a good wife, fourteen children, a host of relatives and friends. He joined the Methodist Church early in life, lie had been in. declining health or many years, but bore his suffering patiently until the end came, lie always enjoyed talking of the wonderful power of God. His death was not a shock as his health had been bad for a long time. How sad their home will be. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. Blessed be the name of the Lord. He has paid a debt we must all pay some time. He said he was ready to go. He knew that he could not stay on this earth long. We believe he is now at rest where the pains of the body never come and where sorrows are not known. His place in the home can never filled. Let us live so we will be prepared to meet him when our time comes to cross over the river of death. To know him was to love him. He was always kind to even one. He was laid to rest in Bethany cemetery Monday to await the morning of the resurrection. Rev. Paul Jones and Rev. Henry Tapley officiating. Service Funeral Home in charge. Everything was done that loving hands could do but none could stay the cold hand of death. Mav we all be prepared to answer the great roll call as we believe Uncle Henry was May God bless the bereaved family is my prayers. A Niece.
