Ashland Progress
Mrs. Eliza Jones, widow of M. Jones, died at her home near Sylacauga and her 
remains were brought to Liberty three miles west of Ashland for interment, the 
funeral to be held this afternoon. Mrs. Jones maiden name was Castleberry, and 
she is said to have been the last surviving member of the old Castleberry family 
who formerly resided in this community. She was quite old and had been blind for 
a number of years we are told.
