Jones departed this life December 28, 1907. at the ripe age of eighty years. Ha was buried by the Masonic fraternity in Ashland, Clay County, Ala, Brother Jones was a Master Mason in good standing for over fifty years. He was quiet and unobtrusive in manner and was faithful to the fraternity and a good citizen in every walk. He was a member of this Lodge for a long time. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Alice T. Nolen, of Haskell. Texas, widow of our late Brother A. J. Nolen. Therefore, be it resolved by Ware Lodge, No 435. 1. That in the death of Brother Jones the nation loses a good citizen, his family a kind and loving father, and the fraternity a true brother. 2. That while we bow in humble submission to the will of Him who cannot do wrong, we extend our sympathies to the stricken family. 3 That a copy of these resolutions be given The Outlook for publication, that a copy be sent the family, and also, that they be spread upon the minutes of this Lodge.
