Anniston Star
Last rites were held this afternoon for Mrs. T. J. Jones. 92-year-old resident of 
Delta, Route 1. Mrs. Jones, who was the widow of the late T. J. Jones, well-known 
county citizen, died at the residence of her son, G. S. Jones, Delta, Route 1, 
Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Services were conducted this afternoon at 2 
o'clock at Bethel Church in Clay County by the Rev. L. N. Claxton. Interment was 
in the church cemetery with Jones in charge.  Mrs. Jones is survived by three 
sons. G. S., Arthur and Charlie, all of Delta, 13 grandchildren, among them Bowie 
Jones of this city, and 13 great-grandchildren.
