Mrs. Tressie S. Jones, 73, of Ashland Rt. 1, died Monday at Southeast Nursing 
Home in Lineville. Funeral services were scheduled today at 2 p.m. at Blair 
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Grady Birchfield officiating. Burial was in 
Bethany Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Lumis P. Jones of Ashland; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn 
Adams of Ashland; a son, L. V. Jones of Alexander City; two sisters, Mrs.
Ester Thompson and Mrs. Linnie Branch, both of Cragford; a brother, Earlie Smith 
of Cragford; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
