Anniston Star
Services for Mrs. Alice Ola Jordan, 87, of Eutaw, formerly of Clay County, were 
today at Lystra Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Sims officiating. Burial was 
in the church cemetery with Brock Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Jordan died 
Sunday at Eutaw Hospital after a short illness. Survivors include a daughter, 
Mrs. Louise May of Eutaw; three sons Borden P. Jordan of Alexander City, John 
Albert Jordan of Macon, and Robert S. Jordan of Atlanta; two sisters, Mrs. 
Estelle Nichols and Mrs. Ruth Gaither, both of Ashland; a brother, Julian Wood 
of Selma; and nine grandchildren. Mrs. Jordan was a native of Clay County. She 
was a retired employee of Southland Manufacturing Co. and a member of Lystra 
Baptist Church.
