Ashland Progress
Mrs. M. B. Karr, age 31 years, died at her home in the Guthrie's Chapel community 
on Tuesday morning at 4:30 o'clock following a short illness of flu and 
pneumonia. She is survived by her husband and three children, two girls and a 
boy, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. C. McLeroy. Funeral services were conducted 
Wednesday morning at Pleasant Grove church, near Highland, by Rev, P. C. Oliver 
of Ashland, assisted by Rev. Hall of Millerville, after which interment was made 
in the Pleasant Grove cemetery, Blair directing. Pallbearers were John Allen, 
Albert Smith, Gene Karr, Nume Karr, Elbert Smith and Arthur Smith.
