Ashland Progress
Mr. Jesse Valdon Kelley, 66, passed away at his home near Cusseta in Chambers 
County Dec. 29. Funeral services were conducted by Elder B. B. Finley at 11:00 a. 
m. Dec. 31, at Macedonia Church. Interment was in the nearby cemetery with 
Johnsons directing. Mr. Kelley is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edna Avery Kelley; 
four sons Amos, Esrom, Thomas, and Phillip. Three daughters, Mrs. Onslow Morris, 
Mrs. J. L. Profit and Mrs. Mayfield. Three brothers, M. F. Kelley and C. E. 
Kelley of Goodwater Rt. 2, and Chester Kelley of Akron, Ohio.
