She was born Nov. 27, 1893, joined the Baptist church at Corinth Aug. 9. 1909; was married July 26, 1914. Sister John Willie was the daughter of. Mr. and Mrs. J. T. McMath of the Corinth community. She leaves a devoted husband, two little children, father and mother, one brother and eight sisters to mourn her loss. Sister Kellum was one of the best women it has been my privilege to know. She was a consecrated Christian, a devoted companion and a good mother. We can say with Paul, "It is gain for a Christian to die. Sister John Willie has exchanged a world of sin and sorrow and death for a world of bliss and joy and happiness, she has just fallen asleep in the arms of Jesus to awaken in the morning of the resurrection. "Asleep in Jesus blessed sleep " Let me say to the husband and father, and mother and children, try to be resigned to the will of the Lord and remember the great reunion day when our broken families shall be, reunited on the shores of sweet deliverance. We can only say goodbye our loved ones "till we meet again.". Her loved ones can say, in the language of the poet: A loved one from is gone A. voice we loved is still Let us bravely march along Submitting to God's will. A link from our chain is gone We miss her it is true but let us pray "Thy will be done," And ask for blessings new. She is resting by the tree of life. Her work on earth is done. She knows no trouble, pain nor strife. Her victory is won. Her Friend and Relative, T. J. PRESTON.
