Funeral was held at the Mt. Gilead Methodist Church at Sikesville, 2 pm. The Rev. Amos Hughes, pastor of Rays Chapel Church and Revs. Henry and Thurston Tapley officiating. Radney Funeral Home directed. Mrs. Kenady had been in declining health a few years and much worse since she had major surgery last July. Pallbearers, were Gulma, John A. Dewell and Glenn Kenady, Charles Bryant and Micky Peters. Flower girls were: Dorothy, Mary, Phyllis, Elhura and Sandra Kenady, Milda Elliott, Dianne Bryant, Barbara Stone and Dotie Blair. She is survived by seven children: Mrs. Nettie Nix, Alex City; Claude W. Kenady, Motley; T. Crayton Kenady, Mellow Valley; W. Lester Kenady, Sikesville; Mrs. Carrie Bice, Alex City; Mrs. Ruby Stone, Fairfax; Mrs. Maude Jones, Alex City; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Additional Comments: Her given names was Ida Fredonia possibly it should read Donie not Dovie.
