Ashland Progress
Mr. A. K. Kennedy died last Wednesday night, April 8th. He was buried at Bethany 
church Friday p. m. He was 81 yean old. He is survived by Mrs. widow and 10 
children, 39 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. All of the children 
were at the funeral but one. He arrived too late to see his father. The funeral 
services were conducted by Elder W. B. Denney, assisted by Elders H. H. Goodman 
and Grady Birchfield. He leaves one sister, Mrs. Joe Ann Moncus, and one brother, 
Mr. Jim Kennedy.
