Mrs. J. C. Kennedy, 83-year-old resident of Delta, who died at her home Monday 
morning was buried this morning in the Delta Cemetery. Services were held at the 
Delta Baptist Church the Rev. S. Ingram officiating. Interment followed at the 
cemetery with Usrev in charge. The deceased is survived by the husband. J. C. 
Kennedy. Delta four sons, Joe and C. C. Kennedy of Delta, R. W. Kennedy of York 
SC., E. W. Kennedy, Decatur; Six daughters. Mrs. Yoeman, Delta, Mrs. L. K. 
Proctor, Atlanta, GA., Mrs. Dan Griffith Newport. Va., Mrs. Rineburger Long 
Beach, Cal, Mrs. Ed Bledsoe, Carrollton, Ga and Mrs. Frazier Milledgeville. Ga
