Anniston Star
C. C. "Lum" Kenndy of Delta died today at Clay County Hospital after a short 
illness. Funeral services will be announced by Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. 
Survivors include three sons, Jack of Medford, Ore., C. C. Kennedy, Jr., of Good 
water, and Richard Kennedy of Delta; two daughters, Mrs. Roy Carpenter of 
Anniston, Mrs. Buddy Thurman of Oxford; one brother, R. W. Kennedy; four 
sisters, Mrs. Ed Bledsoe, Mrs. Lynn Griffin, Mrs. Bessie Frazier, and Mrs. Nell 
Rineberger; and seven grandchildren He was a resident of Delta most of his life 
and a member of Delta Methodist Church. He had been a night watchman for Alabama 
Pipe Company since hit retirement a few years ago. Pallbearers will be Billy 
Roberts, Billy Self, David Hedgepath, Douglas McGinnis, Donald Mc Ginnis and 
Royce McGinnis. Roebuck Funeral Home is in charge.
