Kennedy on Tuesday night, Jan 29th at o'clock at his home. He was a gentleman, neighbor to all far and near, numbered his friends by his acquaintances, came from one of the very finest of families and will be sorely missed in our community, where he had lived almost his entire life, Sincerest sympathy Is extended his devoted companion, children, families, brothers, sisters and of bereaved ones. He is survived by his wife: one son, Hugh Kennedy of Anniston; two daughters, Mrs. A. H. Cofield and Mrs. Young Hill of Delta; three brothers, Lum Kennedy of Delta; Roy Kennedy of Newport News Va., and Ernest Kennedy oi Decatur; six sisters Mrs. C.K. Yoeman, Mrs. L. K. Proctor, Mrs. O.J. Rineborn of Atlanta; Mrs. Ed Bledsoe of Carrollton, GA; Mrs. Bessie Frazier and Mrs. C. D. Griffin of Hampton, Va. Funeral services were held Thurs- day morning at 11 o'clock at Delta Baptist Church, the Rev. W. L. Sprayberry and Rev. G.W. Bailey officiating. Burial was in Delta Cemetery, Jones of Anniston, in charge. Pallbearers were: Heston Dial, Walter Jones, Pressley Ingram, Floyd McCollough, Wiley Sprayberry, and Boyd Peoples.
