Kennedy, 35, a night overseer of Fairfax mill, was drowned Saturday morning in the backwater of the Chattahoochee where he was fishing with a companion, in boat. The boat overturned accidentally and Kennedy who was a good swimmer told his companion to hold the boat while he swam to the bank. It was thought that his foot became entangled in something and held him fastened and he was unable to loosen himself or to call for help. Mr. Kennedy was a very popular young man and leaves many friends to mourn his untimely end Funeral services were held Sunday. He is survived by his wife, who was Miss Staines of Fairfax.
