Lineville Headlight
Whereas, it has pleased ask mighty God to remove from us our beloved Brother, 
David E. Knight, and whereas Brother Knight was a faithful and worthy Master 
Mason and held in such high esteem both by his lodge as well as by all who knew 
him.  Resolved 1. That while we are grieved because of the loss that we sustain 
in his being severed from us, yet we bow in humble submission to God's will and 
give Him thanks for the many years that he gave unto us this noble character to 
encourage us in Masonic as; well as lend a helping hand elsewhere whenever an 
opportunity presented itself. 2. That not only has the Masonic fraternity lost a 
devoted advocate and the family a wise counsellor and a loving companion, but 
the community has part ed with one of its very best citizens. 3. That we tender 
to the family of the deceased Brother our warmest sympathy. 4. That a copy of 
these resolutions be spread upon the minutes of the lodge that a cops be sent to 
the family of Bro. Knight, and that they be published in the Lineville Headlight 
and the. Ashland Progress. W. S. Childs. J. D. PlCKENS, E. A. West Committee.
