Ashland Progress
In Memory of Mrs. Josie Knight. On the night of June 14th, 1919, God removed 
from us Mrs. Josie Knight wife of B.J. Knight. To this union was born 5 
children, all of whom survive, but one daughter who preceded the mother to the 
grave some few years ago. "Aunt Josie" as she was familiarly called by most all 
who knew her, never knew when she had done enough for those in need of her. She 
spent a little over 48 years here doing good to all whom she could, when an 
opportunity presented itself, and until God called her and said "Come up higher" 
Tho her husband, children and friends weep over her passing, let them live and 
trust in the hope that they can meet their companion and mother in a world 
where, there'll be no weeping and sorrow, Funeral services conducted by Rev. 
W.H. Griffin at the Christian church at Cragford of which she was a faithful 
member. Interment at Wesobulga cemetery. Her Niece.
