Lamb, 59. at First Baptist Church in Lineville at 2 o'clock Friday. Mr. Lamb had been a member of this church for many years. He had been employed by the State Highway Department for the past 15 years. He suffered a heart attack in Childersburg where he was employed and died at City Hospital in Sylacauga Wednesday. The Rev. Cecil Little and Judge W. B. Nolen officiated. Blair Funeral Home Lineville was in charge with burial in the Lineville Cemetery. Mr. Lamb had been employed in Lineville and had resided in Clay County most of his life until his employment with the Highway Department. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Fred Willis, Ashland, Mrs. Charles Leverett, Birmingham; one son, Joe Lamb, Sidney, Ohio; two grandsons; two brothers, Clarence Lamb and Ernest Lamb; two sisters, Mrs. Hortense Lyles, and Mrs. Lela Gilliand, all of Eutaw. Active pallbearers were: Gene Poland, Burl Gibson, Herbert Griffin. Morris Willis, E. D. Riley. Sr., Marion Clark. Honorary pall bearers were: Jimmy Ford, Jim Walker, Clayton Willis. Herbert Seymour, Paid Smith and Wesley Horn.
