H. Lamberth died at her residence in Clay County. Mrs. Lamberth. was born Oct 12, 1835. hence was 64 years old the date of her death. The leaves surviving her, a husband, two daughters and one son. She was a true devoted Christain and showed by her life that her religious beliefs was one that influenced and shaped her character. She joined the Baptist church in 1871; was baptized by Rev. M. M. Driver. Mrs. Lamberth was a true missionary believed in supporting: the gospel, in aiding in Sunday school work, and in giving to the Orphan's Home. Hers was a life of usefulness, her example as a Christian was such that all who knew her felt its power an influence. The many kind words spoken by her, the many, deeds of benevolence she did. the beautiful example of Christian living she gave, will be remembered and cherished for years to come long alter the mortal body shall have would moulderd to dust. No wonder that on her death be, she requested her children not to grieve after her; no wonder that she declared that while the thoughts of death are unpleasant, the love of Christ is sweet. She died in great triumph, realizing that her Savior was able to save to the uttermost. "She hath sought the bosom of her Lord".
