The Lineville Headlight, Jan. 17, 1929
Mrs. Lela. Laney -- The body of Mrs. Lela Laney who died at Talladega was 
brought to Ashland Friday night and burried in the Schoggins burying ground, a 
short distance south of town Saturday.  She was reared in this community, being 
a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Ransom, deceased.

Additional Comments:
The date of the eleventh is merely a guess as she was brought back to Ashland 
on that day.
