K. Langley, 69, died March 19 at about 3 :00 at his home near Pyriton. Mr. Langley had lived in Clay County all his life with the exception of a few years which he spent in Texas and Oklahoma, He has been a farmer since childhood. Funeral services were held Concord Baptist Church. Rev. Cecil Kay and L. R. Johnson conducted the services. Burial was in Concord cemetery with Blair in charge. Mr. Langley married Carrie Hicks in 1908. To this union was born four children, three girls and one boy. He is survived by his wife and the four children, Mrs. Florence Hornsby and Mrs. Bessie Wesley of Ashland; Mrs. Grace Brown of Pyriton; and Charles L. Langley of Birmingham. He is also survived by three grandchildren, one brother and two sisters. He had been a member of the Baptist church for about 35 years. Pallbearers were J. D. Birchfield, T. T. Headrick, Monroe Sailors, Mac Sprayberry, Rev. L. L. Allen and A. A. Hicks.
