Lineville Headlight
Mr. M. G. Langston, 76 was buried Saturday afternoon. He was sick about 24 hours 
previous to his death. He was unable to attend the Baptist Association at Delta 
Wednesday but was unable to go Thursday. Although Saturday was a very rainy day, 
a large concourse of relatives and friends were able to attend the funeral and 
burial. The funeral rites were held by his pastor, Rev. Willingham, assisted by 
the Methodist pastor. Burial was beside his wife who passed only a few years 
ago. The children surviving are, Mrs. H. L. Jackson, Lineville. Rev. A. D. 
Langston, Monroe, La. and Howard Langston, Pensacola, Fla. Brother Langston came 
to Lineville several years ago for the school advantages here and endeared 
himself and family to the community. He was a devout church man and a regular 
attendant at Sunday School. No one will be more missed in his church than he and 
a better citizen and neighbor will not be easily found. We cherish his memory 
here.
