Lashley, 82, of Lineville, Rt. 2, were to be today at 2 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. A. A. Jacobs and Gordon Taylor officiating. Burial was to follow in Lineville City Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. Mr. Lashley died Sunday at Clay County Hospital after a long illness. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Myrtice McGraw of Lineville; two sons, Rex Lashley of Bowden, Ga., and John W. Lashley of Gibsonville, N.C.; 13 grandchildren, 18 greatgrandchildren; and four great- greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers were to be James McGraw, Joe McGraw, Charles Parker, Tommy Hartley, Larry Nobbley and Lynn Smith. Mr. Lashley was a native of Clay County and a retired farmer.
