Services for Billy Alton Lashley, 51, of Douglasville were Tuesday at Whitley 
Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Woodrow Hudson officiating. Graveside services 
were held at Barfield Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Clarence Wood 
officiating and Brock Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Lashley died Sunday in 
Douglasville. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Frances G. Lashley of 
Douglasville; two sons, Randy Lashley and Scott Lashley, both of Douglasville; 
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Lashley of Cragford; a sister, Mrs. Norma Smith 
of Huntsville; and a brother, Harold Lashley of Bessemer. Pallbearers were Mike 
Graben, Roger Graben, Greg Graben, Dan Lashley, Neal Lashley, and Evans Smith. 
Mr. Lashley was a Clay County native and a retired employee of Seaboard 
Coastline Railroad for the past 34 years.
