"Maggie" Latham, 86, of Lineville, Rt. 2, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Black Chapel Methodist Church with the Rev. Clarence Wood and the Rev. Bob Brown officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge. The body will be at the church until an hour before the service. Mrs. Latham died Wednesday at the Lineville Geriatric Center. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary L. Maze of Birmingham and Mrs. Shirley L. Whaley of Lineville; two sons, William V. Latham of Birmingham, and Reginald Howard Latham of Opelika; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Prestidge of Gadsden, Mrs. Luzelle Collier of Opp and Mrs. Ila Ogletree of Alabaster, 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ray Lewis, Scott Latham, Billy Maze, Jeff Maze, Ricky David Latham and Frank Wear. Mrs. Latham was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County. She was a member of Black Chapel Methodist Church.
