Anniston Star
James T. Lee, 84, of Rt. 2, Ashland, died Wednesday at the Clay County Hospital 
after a long illness. Funeral services were to be today at 3 p.m. at the Blairs -
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J. R. Brown officiating. Burial will be in the 
Olive Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with Blair Brown-Service Funeral Home in 
charge. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mindie Etta Lee; three daughters, Mrs. 
Ruby Oswalt, Springhill, Mrs. Una Mae Perseghin, Mrs. Rosie Bell Baugh, Fort 
Myers, Fla., two sons. James Lee, of Fort Lauderdale, and E. Lee of Joppa, four 
sisters, Mrs. Margie Haynes and Mrs. Irene Dison, Ashland, Mrs. Josie Jacobs of 
Talladega, and Mrs. Hattie E. Purvis, and 12 grandchildren, 13 great-, 
grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
