Cause of death was a shotgun wound in his stomach. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. John L. Higdon at Blair Funeral Chapel on Sunday, Jan. 25th. at 2:00 p.m. Interment was in Concord Church Cemetery. Masons had charge of graveside services. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. J. Lett; five sons, Dale and Paul Lett of Lineville. Dr. M. G. Lett of Gadsden; Fred Lett of Anniston; Huland Lett of Cleveland, Tennessee; three daughters, Mrs. Lila Clark of Aiken, S. Mrs. Ina Lee Brooks of Ashland; Mrs. Gail Camp of Lineville; five brothers and three sisters. Pallbearers were Jim McClellan, Mac Sprayberry. Rober; Camp K. J. Stone, Melvin Griffin and Archie Poole.
