Services for George Monroe Lockridge, 83, of Ashland, Rt. 2, will be Wednesday at 
2 p.m. at Mineral Springs Methodist Church with the Rev. A. A. Jacobs and the 
Rev. Dee. Hurst officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Brock 
Funeral Home, of Clay County in charge. The body will be at the church an hour 
before services. Mr. Lockridge died Monday at Lineville Geriatric Center. 
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lottie P. Lockridge of Ashland, Rt. 2; a son, 
Nathan Lockridge of Ashland; a sister, Mrs. Rosetta Wood of Anniston; a brother, 
C. J. Lockridge of Ashland; and three grandchildren. Mr. Lockridge was a native 
of Georgia but had lived in Clay County for several, years. He was a retired 
farmer and a member of Horn's Memorial Baptist Church.
