Services for Travis Long, 19, of Ashland will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Liberty 
Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harold McCain and the Rev. Elmer 
Wheeles officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield 
Funeral Home in charge. The body will be at the funeral home until service time. 
Mr. Long died Sunday in a car accident in Tallapoosa County. Survivors include 
his mother, Mrs. Jessie Mae Haney of Oxford; his father, S.J. Long of Clay 
County; a sister, Miss Tracy Long of Oxford; a brother, Steve Long of New Site, 
and his grandfather. Homer Brown of Alexander City. Mr. Long was a native of Clay 
County and a truck driver. He was Baptist.
