Anniston Star
Services for Mrs. Kathleen Daugherty Luker, 65, of Delta, Rt. 1, will be Friday 
at 2 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville with the Rev. Gordon Taylor 
officiating. Burial will be in Clay County Memory Gardens. The family will 
receive friends today at the funeral home where the body will be through 
services.  Mrs. Luker died Wednesday at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, Ga. 
Survivors include two foster daughters, Mrs. Kathy Pinkston of Delta and Mrs. 
Rebecca Jenkins of R0me, Ga.  four sisters, Mrs. Levis New of Anniston, Mrs. 
Louise Swope and Mrs. Addie L. Ford, both of Lineville, and Mrs. Polly Brooks of 
Lanett; a brother, Bobby H. Daugherty of Dalton; and four grandchildren. 
Pallbearers will be Sam Jones Jr.  Michael Daugherty, Robert Daugherty, Bobby 
Daugherty, Stanley Ford, and Lee New Jr. Mrs. Luker was a Clay County native and 
resident, a homemaker, and a member of Wesley's Chapel Christian Church.
