Lynch was born May 7th, 1826, in Carrol County, Georgia, and died Sept 24th, 1896, and was laid to rest in the old cemetery at Mt. Zion. She joined the M. E. church when a young girl and lived an expectable member for a number of years when she connected herself with the Congregational church and lived a faithful life until her death, she was a model, Christian. Her house was the preacher's home, and many of them will miss her when visiting her church. She left many friends, 3 children and a number of grandchildren to mourn her death. Her death was the result of an accident. She fell on the top of a fence which dislocated her hip joint. She lived but a few days after the fall, and was a severe suffer, but died in the faith that she lived. Her husband was killed 4 years ago by a falling tree. She made an affectionate wife, a kind and loving mother and a good neighbor. May we all live and die as she did trusting in the promise of the Lord, and grant that her off springs may emirate her life. Her Pastor. Additional Comments: Note: Old Mt. Zion & Old Liberty Hill are the same cemetery.
