Anniston Star
Cephus Arthur Macoy, 84. died Thursday at his home in Lineville after a long 
illness. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Carrie Mae Macoy; three daughters, Mrs. 
Dolcie Mae Cloud and Mrs. Clinton Fetner of Lineville and Mrs. Johnny Malcom 
Burdette of Anniston; a brother, Jim Macoy of Lineville; a sister, Mrs. Emma Ward 
of New Brocton, 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mr. McCoy had 
lived in Lineville most of his life and was a member of Spring Hill Christian 
Church. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Spring Hill Christian 
Church with burial in Lineville Cemetery, Blair Funeral Home in charge.
