Anniston Star
Services for Sylva G. Maddox, 75, of Delta, Rt. 1, will be at 4 p.m. today at 
the Delta Church of God with the Rev. Buddy Robinson and the Rev. Aaron Baldwin 
officiating. Burial will follow in Clay County Memory Gardens with Benefield 
Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. The family will receive friends at the 
funeral home until services. Mr. Maddox died Friday at Clay County Hospital. 
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marie Maddox of Delta; a stepdaughter, Mrs. 
Shelba Rollins or Roanoke; a stepson, Joe Maddox of Bowdon, Ga, a sister, Mrs. 
Ethelene Sheppard of Lineville; a brother, P.Q. Maddox of Lineville; and six 
grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Joe Heath Wayne Rollins. Don Sheppard. Terry 
Sheppard, Scott Maddox and Don Adams. Mr.  Maddox was a Randolph County native, 
a retired Ace Manufacturing Co. employee.
