Ashland Progress
A. P. Mann, 74, died last Friday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. 
Ernest Gilbert, and was buried the following day at County Line church, nine 
miles south of Ashland. Revs. F. J. Ingram, P. Bean, H. T. Tapley and T. J. 
Reynolds took part in the service, Blair directing. Mr. Mann had been living in 
Ashland twenty years or more. Mr. Mann was a highly respected citizen and had 
many friends in Ashland and Clay County who are grieved at his passing.
