Ashland Progress
Arthur P. Mann, age 56, died in a Tuscaloosa hospital last Saturday following an 
illness of several weeks. The remains were brought back to his home at 
Gibsonville for funeral services and burial on Monday afternoon. The services 
were held County Line Baptist church of which the deceased was a member. Rev.
S. C. Ray conducted the service, after which the body was laid to rest in the 
County Line cemetery, Blair directing. Pallbearers were Jack Mann, Lowell Mann, 
Paul Mann, Brenton Mann Comer Mann and Elmer Mattox. The deceased is survived by 
his widow and one daughter, Mrs. Elma Mattox, and five sons, Jack, Lowell, Paul, 
Brenton and Comer.
