Funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. Earl Gordon, assisted by Rev. John L. Higdon, pastor of First Baptist Church, at Blairs Funeral Chapel Wednesday morning. Burial was in Lineville new cemetery. Mrs. Manning survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Elsie Hooton, Birmingham; Mrs. Clarice Newberry, Newport News, Va.; Mrs. Lillian Hardy, Lineville; Miss Nell Manning, Sylacauga. Three sisters, Mrs. John H. Graves, Birmingham; Mrs. Minnie Reeves and Mrs. Edna Giles, Lineville, Active pallbearers were A. A. Bell, Jr., Merrill Bell, Owen Woods, James Smith and J. W. Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Robert Boazman, Clyde Stewart, W. W. Young, and W. E. Carpenter.
