Funeral services were held today at the New Harmony church in Clay County Alabama 
for James Samuel Martin of Fairfax who died Thursday at his residence. The Rev J. 
W. Chambers assisted by the Rev. N. A. Long will conduct the final services 
Burial will be in the New Harmony cemetery Surviving are Mr. Martin’s four 
daughters Mrs. Bertha Wills of LaGrange Mrs. Myrt King of Atlanta, Miss Estelle 
Martin of LaGrange and Mrs. Ruby Lindsey of Atlanta, four sons W. H. Martin of 
Fairfax, Manning Martin of Lineville, Omar Martin of Oxford and Hurley Martin of 
Fairfax.
