Carmel on April 13th at 2 p.m. with Reverends Gordon Taylor, Elmon Mattox and Alton Gamble officiating. Blair Funeral Directors were in charge of arrangements. Interment was in nearby cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons, Thomas Griffin, Lois Rogers Mask. Donald Flornoy, Bobby Griffin, James Griffin, Ray Jones. The deceased passed away at the home of her daughter on Cragford Route 1, on April 11th. Survivors include one son, J. A. Mask, Alexander City Rt. 3, five daughters, Mrs. Vida Griffin and Mrs. Ably Griffin, Cragford Rt. 1; Mrs. Annie Maude Flornoy, Alexander City Rt. 4; Mrs. Myrtle Jones, Goodwater, Rt. 3; Mrs. Adell Nunn, Cragford Rt. 1; one brother, B. F. Garthwright, La Grange, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Bama Smith, LaGrange, Ga.; Mrs. Ethel Sumners, Sylacauga. Thirty-three grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
