Lineville Headlight
Whereas, it has pleased our Heavenly Father in His infinite wisdom to remove 
from our midst our beloved brother, Mr. C. H. Mason, who had been superintendent 
of Pleasant Grove Sunday School for a number of years, who died on the 25th day 
of June 1909, and who was faithful Christian, and loving and devoted husband and 
father, therefore, be it resolved by the Pleasant Grove Baptist Sunday School, 
Clay County, Ala. Is That this Sunday School, the church and community at large 
have, in the death of Brother Mason, lost a valuable and lovable member, and his 
family a most devoted and dutiful husband and father. His life of purity and 
consecration, his tender solicitude for the welfare of others, his cheerful 
disposition to ward all with whom he came in contact, made his life a blessing 
to all who knew him; and while our hearts are torn with grief, we bow in humble 
submission to the Divine will of Him who doeth all things well. 2nd. That this 
Sunday School hereby extends to the bereaved members of his family their deepest 
and most heartfelt sympathies in their great loss and pray God to send them that 
comforting grace which He alone can give.  3rd. That a copy of these resolutions 
be sent his family and The Lineville Headlight and Alabama Baptist for
