Lineville Headlight
Mrs. Martha Mathews died at the home of her son, F. L. Mathews, five miles south 
of Lineville, Wednesday mornings and her remains were interred in the Lineville 
cemetery Thursday morning. The deceased was born, in Sonth Carolina and at the 
time of her death was 87 years, 2 months and 16 days old. She had lived in this 
country 13 years was a consistent member of the Shiloh Baptist church. The 
funeral services were con ducted by Rev. J. L. Ingram. She is survived by two 
sons, F.L. Mathews, of Ashland Route 1, and H. Mathews, of Roanoke.
