Ashland Progress
Seab Mattox, age 55 years died at his home in Alexander City on Sunday March 16. 
He formerly resided in this county. He is survived by his widow and one child. He 
is also survived by one brother, W. B. Mattox of the High Pine community. Funeral 
services were held Tues day morning at Sardis Baptist church near Gibsonville, 
conducted by Rev. Cecil Ray. Burial was in the church cemetery.
