Jan 31, 1896:
A black brigade from Hollins almost as large as Coxey's army took in our streets 
several days this week. They were witnesses in the case of state of Ala. vs. 
James Howard charged with the murder of James McAdory which was on trial in 
county court.

Feb 28, 1896:
Jas. Howard col. gets a life sentence for murdering Jas. McAdory col. at Hollins, 
last Christmas.
